Teachers are there to help further the kids Future. I think it's the kids responsibility to push them selfs to be better and do what's required of them. My girls go there as well. They say so much bad things about the school but the kids are the school and it's up to them to do what's RIGHT. My girls love there teachers and I had one incident but since than everything is fine.
The gym teacher Alyssa Arroyo is very caring and helpful.
I love this school for my daughter. The school in general is amazing. The only dislikes are: The children do not use the crosswalks enough, southeastern needs a crossing guard and one day I gave my child money to buy herself a gatorade and she had a class right after lunch, my daughter just arrived in the classroom and went to go put her stuff down and the teacher took her unopened gatorade that she wasnt even fiddling with and threw it in the garbage. I dont care if it was a penny or a million bucks, but money doesnt grow on trees people. I think what bothers me about it is that I left a message and the teacher never replied. It may have been a rule not to have food or drinks in "home ec" that i dont know..but like I said it was unopened and not being messed with.
One word... Horrible.
